ABSENCE

Spring Hill PS has recently installed software to communicate unexplained absences to parents. The software will send an SMS message indicating that our records show the child as absent, the message will contain the following number 0438 990 841. This number cannot be phoned it will only accept SMS replies indicating the reason for the absence. The system is designed to ensure the safety of students. If a parent believes that a child is at school and they are not they will be notified in a timely manner allowing for actions to be taken to ascertain the whereabouts of the child.

LATE ARRIVAL

Please note that any students who arrive late need to go through the front office and receive a Late slip which must then be given to their teacher, failure to do so will result in the parent receiving a message from the school to say that their child has not arrived for the day which creates unnecessary stress and confusion for you as a parent.

EARLY DEPARTURE

Parents will need to go through the front office and fill out the Leave Pass Book should you need to collect your child/children early from school, you will receive a yellow slip which will be given to the teacher when you collect your child from their classroom.
